Join world leading pain scientists Professor Lorimer Moseley and Professor Cormac Ryan for an evening of skits and old-school TV game shows, illustrating the complex, quirky, and surprising science of pain.
Did you know that over 28 million people in the UK struggle with persistent pain? Placing unbridled pressure and demand on healthcare systems, it is is the leading cause of physical and mental disability across the UK.
This is why understanding the science of persistent pain is so important: and ‘Pain in the Spotlight’ will help you do just that. As they say, confidence is key: and feeling confident in the science can help you achieve better outcomes for the people you support.
Flippin’ Pain is hosting two nights of ‘Pain in the Spotlight’ in collaboration with Connect Health. Professionals of all kinds can join us for an entertaining and interactive look at some of the quirks and complexities of pain science. And if that isn’t enough, we’ll also feed you!
The events are taking place on the below dates:
- Newcastle – Monday 10th June 2024, 6.00pm to 9.30pm, Newcastle upon Tyne city centre
- London – Monday 17th June 2024, 6.00pm to 9.30pm, Camden
